ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW CEO APPOINTMENT

Pacific Cross Vietnam is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Bui Minh Mai Khanh as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 23, 2025, succeeding Mr. Robert David Wyld, the former CEO.

Currently serving as the CEO of Pacific Cross Health Insurance Thailand, Dr. Khanh will also assume the leadership role at Pacific Cross Vietnam. This dual appointment reflects the Pacific Cross Group’s strategic commitment to strengthening regional integration, optimizing operations, and enhancing service quality in key markets, including Vietnam.

With over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry -including life, non-life, and health segments across Europe and Asia – Dr. Khanh is a recognized expert in actuarial science, finance, and strategic management. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from Eötvös Loránd University and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from Corvinus University of Budapest. Dr. Khanh is a triple fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) in the United Kingdom, the Hungarian Actuarial Society (MMA), and the Society of Actuaries of Thailand (FSAT). Prior to joining Pacific Cross, she held senior leadership roles at major insurers, including Chief Actuary and IFRS 17 Project Lead at Prudential Vietnam, and Chief Actuary at Chubb Life Vietnam.

Dr. Khanh joined the Pacific Cross Group in 2022 as Group Chief Financial & Actuarial Officer, where she quickly demonstrated strong leadership and was subsequently appointed CEO of Pacific Cross Health Insurance Thailand. Under her leadership, the Company has undergone significant strategic and digital transformation and has received multiple prestigious industry awards, including “Best Health Insurer in Thailand” for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025, “AI Initiative of the Year”, and “Health Insurance Initiative of the Year” from the 2025 Insurance Asia Awards. She was also named the 2024 Thailand Best Woman CEO in Health Insurance and featured on the cover of Women’s Tabloid magazine as an inspiring leader in female empowerment and innovation.

In her expanded role in Vietnam, Dr. Khanh is expected to continue driving innovation, accelerating product and service development, expanding strategic partnerships, and strengthening operational excellence at Pacific Cross Vietnam. Her appointment marks a significant milestone in the Group’s journey toward achieving regional synergy and sustainable growth.
